Dennis Quinn

"September 11 is one of our worst days but it brought out the best in us. It unified us as a country and showed our charitable instincts and reminded us of what we stood for and stand for." — Senator Lamar Alexander

Dennis Quinn is an ironworker from Chicago, Illinois, Local 1 of the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental, and Reinforcing Ironworkers. He was one of the brothers who helped clean the debris after the attack on the World Trade Centre in 2001. Quinn travelled by car to join the rescue effort and started working on September 17. He worked six weeks, seven days a week for eight hours a day cleaning what was left of the two buildings.

Dennis was one of many construction workers who travelled to help clean and rebuild after the towers collapsed. We appreciate all our brothers and sisters. Thank you for all you do.
